A Memoir by Russell Perrone
Twinless: A Ride Exceeded Its Destination
"Life after your twin is still a life worth living."
"Look for the signs, and you'll find your twin is still with you."
About the Book
Identical twins share more than a face. They speak alike, think alike, and sometimes feel each other's emotions from across a room. Rusty Perrone and his twin brother Randy lived that bond from the very beginning.
Written in the years after life-changing events involving Randy, Twinless follows two brothers from childhood through the perils of adolescence and the trials of adulthood. It's set against the backdrop of their family's fourth-generation Italian food business and the storms, traditions, and color of New Orleans. It's a story about what it means to be a twin, to be Italian-American, and to be family, and about learning that mistakes can be teachers, and that tragedy can be survived.
